1. Who we are

This website, korbai.com.au (Site), is operated by Small Business Growth Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 45 653 163 734), trading as Korbai (we, us, our). We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

We may collect the following personal information:

• Name and contact details (email address, phone number) that you provide through our contact form, booking tool, or email correspondence
• Company name, role, and information about your business that you share when enquiring about our services
• Technical and usage data collected automatically, including IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on site, and referring URLs
• Cookie and similar tracking data (see section 8)
• Answers you give in the AI Readiness Score, the score calculated from them, and the industry and team size you may choose to select. If you ask us for a written read of your results, these are stored alongside the name and email address you give us so we can reply
• For the AI Risk Assessment we deliberately keep less. If you ask us for a written read, we email you your result and email a copy to ourselves, and what we retain is only the risk bands and the type of use case, without your individual answers or your email address attached to them

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you when you complete a form, book a call, subscribe to our communications, or correspond with us - and automatically through cookies and analytics tools when you browse the Site.

4. How we use it

We use personal information to:

• Respond to your enquiries and deliver our services
• Send you communications you have signed up for, including updates about our services (you can unsubscribe at any time - see section 7)
• Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it
• Produce de-identified statistics about how ready Australian businesses are for AI, and where they are exposed by it, drawn from AI Readiness Score and AI Risk Assessment answers, which we may publish. Anything we publish is aggregated and never includes names, email addresses, or details that identify a business
• Comply with our legal obligations and protect our legal rights

5. Who we share it with

We may share personal information with service providers who help us operate the Site and deliver our services - including website hosting, analytics, scheduling, and email platforms. We may also disclose information to our professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, insurers) or to government authorities where required by law. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers - including analytics tools and scheduling tools such as Calendly - store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

7. Marketing communications

Where we send marketing or promotional emails, we do so in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every marketing email we send identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including third-party analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft advertising and analytics services, to understand how visitors use the Site. We may add or change these tools from time to time. These tools collect aggregated usage data and may set their own cookies. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how parts of the Site function.

The Site also stores a small amount of information in your own browser to remember your preferences: whether you have already been shown or completed the AI Readiness Score, so we do not ask you again. This stays on your device, is not personal information, is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

9. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Access, correction, and deletion

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date, or ask us to delete your information. We will respond within a reasonable period and will take reasonable steps to comply, except where we are required or entitled to retain information by law.

11. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
